Robins Federal Credit Union has just completed the most successful year in our history.  This level of success is unprecedented when considering all of the turmoil in the economy and financial industry. Robins Federal Credit Union remained strong and stable, and continues to make a difference in the lives of over 130,000 members.

A few of the highlights of 2008 included:

 - Reaching a credit union industry milestone of over $1 billion in assets.

 -Outstanding capital ratio of 12%, which is far in excess of the levels required by our regulator.

 - Opening a new branch location in downtown Macon. Now with 17 branches and 42 ATMs, Robins Federal is more accessible than ever to everyone in Middle Georgia.

 - Once again, Robins Federal was honored to be named "Best of the Best in Financial Institutions" by the readers of the Macon Telegraph. In addition, our Mortgage Department was named "Best of the Best in Mortgage Lenders".

 As we progress through 2009, we will continue to dedicate our time and resources to offering the latest products, improving our services, helping members learn and use sound financial skills, and continuing to be a valued part of the communities we serve.

 - Mobile Banking (secure account access via mobile phone devices) should launch in the first part of the year.

 - A new branch location in Milledgeville is slated to open in late 2009.

 - Robins Federal will continue helping our members through their financial challenges.

 - We will launch a new Easy Save Share Certificate.  This will help more members start saving and building good financial habits. This certificate will feature competitive dividends with a minimum deposit of just $100.

 On January 1, 2009, it was my privilege to succeed John Ruffin as CEO of Robins Federal Credit Union. I started my career at Robins Federal in 1996 after more than 20 years in the financial industry, and I look forward to meeting the challenges in the ever changing financial landscape. You, our members, are the owners of Robins Federal Credit Union. The staff, Board of Directors, and management are committed to meet all of your financial needs.  We would like to thank you for putting your trust in us for 55 years, and we look forward to many more generations of service to Middle Georgia.
