Q.

How does the RFCU Debit Card work?

A.

The Debit Card works just as your ATM card for cash withdrawals by entering your Personal Identification Number (PIN) at participating ATMs. In addition, an RFCU Debit Card is accepted at any location where VISA debit card is accepted and the funds are withdrawn from your share draft account (checking) when you use the card with your PIN.

Q.

I am able to use my Debit Card at the ATM but I am not able to use it as a credit transaction. What could be the problem?

A.

Your Debit Card has not been activated. When multiple cards have been issued for an account, each card must be activated individually, even though you may have received the message “All cards on this account have been activated". An activation call must be made for each card from the home phone number.

To activate your card, call 800.241.2405 or 478.923.3773, press option 5.

Q.

I requested a new Debit Card because mine was damaged. Will I get a replacement card with the same number as my damaged card and will I be able to use my same PIN?

A.

When you have requested a new Debit Card because it has been either lost or stolen, you will receive a new card and a new PIN.

The card number and PIN will not change if it is a reissue of an expired card, from a name change, or damaged.
