01/03/2008 - Beware of Scammers Posing as RFCU Employees

Several RFCU members have reported being contacted by phone or through e-mails from individuals posing as RFCU employees. They are telling our members that they are calling to resolve an error that has occurred on your account. The goal of the fraudulent call or message is to obtain your member account number. If you are contacted and are asked to verify your account information, please DO NOT give any information over the phone, return any phone calls or reply to any email messages, contact Robins Federal Credit Union directly at 478-923-3773 or toll free at 1-800-241-2405.
